PRESENTATION / National Delegations
The members and alternates from each Member State form a national delegation.
Each national delegation adopts its own
internal rules and elects a
chairman. The Committee President shall be officially informed of the name
of the person elected.
According to the CoR Rules of Procedure, the Secretary-General shall make
arrangements, within the Committee's
administration, for national
delegations to receive assistance. It is provided within the Directorate
for
the Registry and Services to Members consisting of Committee of the Regions
officials
who take care of the procedures and facilities relating to
members.
The Registry cooperates closely with the coordinators of the
national delegations who are liaison officers
between the Committee's
administration and the members.
