What startx Starts
When you start an X session with startx, OpenLinux uses the AfterStep window manager and runs the Looking Glass graphical desktop. Looking Glass is an X11 client that you can use to launch programs and organize your files. For more information about using Looking Glass, start the Netscape Navigator browser from the command line of a terminal window by typing netscape /usr/doc/html/Caldera_Info. You can then read the Looking Glass Desktop Interface Users Guide.
How Many Window Managers?
You're not limited to the window managers included with OpenLinux. Browse to www.PLiG.org/xwinman and you can find links to more than 60 different window managers. One of the great reasons to run OpenLinux and X is that you can make your computer look like other computers or anything you want!
