MyVoiceStream.com Personal Portal

Consistent with VoiceStream's strategy of offering customers more minutes, more service and more features than other wireless providers, VoiceStream offers wireless Internet services through a personal portal called MyVoiceStream.com. Unlike other services in the marketplace, content and branding of MyVoiceStream.com is completely controlled by VoiceStream. The portal, custom designed with InfoSpace for VoiceStream, was built to fully integrate Internet functionality with wireless service in a manner that complements both technologies and provides a superior customer experience. The services offered through MyVoiceStream.com mark the first in a series of messaging and wireless data services to be commercially available this year including e-commerce and high speed internet browsing using WAP and HTML enabled handsets.

Enhanced Messaging and Personalization

The MyVoiceStream.com portal is accessible directly or through VoiceStream's company web site. The tightly integrated personal Internet portal offers the following services:

e-notes: two-way e-mail service gives customers the ability to send and receive e-mail to and from a wireless device. Customers can filter, forward and reply to home or office e-mail addresses via their wireless phone.
InfoStream: Customers can choose from a broad array of Internet news and information services to be delivered to their wireless phone. Message alerts can include stock prices, sports scores, daily horoscopes, weather and other news services. Customers personally select what information they want and schedule delivery when they want.
Ring Tones: A VoiceStream exclusive service, customers can choose from an initial library of 175 personal ringtones to be downloaded to their handset. Custom faceplates and accessories are also available, allowing personalization of VoiceStream service that can be seen and heard.
On-line account management: Customers can manage their VoiceStream account with a click. They can update their phone directory of numbers, view their bill, pay online and add features and services to their account.

Next Phases

VoiceStream is the largest wireless service provider in the country operating on the GSM technology platform. GSM is the globally dominant wireless standard, which offers a strong competitive advantage in the speed at which VoiceStream can bring wireless internet and data services in the marketplace. VoiceStream will expand these services over the next 12 months, adding e-commerce functionality to the personal portal and deploying high-speed packet network data using GPRS.
