Strange, isn't it,
how one man's life touches so many others?
You were our colleague.
You were our friend.
You burst into our lives in the spring of 1989, your first semester at the Collegian. Over those years, you have touched all of us.
Some of us remember the unprecedented number of stories you and Mike Matvey wrote in one semester.
And the love you had for covering Lady Lion basketball.
We remember roadtrips to see field hockey, football, basketball ...
What about all those football magazines you stressed out about?

We remember that you were our harshest critic -- and our most loyal fan.
And we will remember you this way -- celebrating The Daily Collegian's anniversary with you, working beside you at a basketball game, laughing with you at a party, and smiling with you as you give us that big Petersen grin.
