Outlook 98 SuperGuide
By Peter Deegan, Help & How-To
Outlook 98 is Microsoft's latest foray into the
Personal Information Manager (PIM) market; it can
handle all your e-mail, scheduling, address book,
To Do list, even stray little notes -- all in one
program. Unlike its much maligned predecessor
(Outlook 97, part of Office 97), Outlook 98 is a
much more stable and workable product. If you're
unhappy with your current PIM or are still using
bits of paper stuck around your monitor, then
Outlook 98 is a good chance to computerize your
life. Currently, Outlook 98 is available free from Microsoft to registered users of Office 97, Outlook 97 or Exchange Server.
Outlook 98 looks easy to understand -- but there's lots of little things you should know to make your Outlook 98 experience less frustrating. Our Outlook 98 SuperGuide strips away the glossy varnish and gets down to the true surface.
First we'll give you some lesser-known tips on installation and setup. Then we'll give you some tips from the real Outlook experts -- the people who made the product at Microsoft!
