10Toy Drive
Donate Toys To Those Less Fortunate This Holiday Season
For nearly 30 years the 10Toy Drive has brought smiles to many children all over San Diego County.

A caring weatherman most television viewers know as Captain Mike Ambrose started the 10Toy Drive decades ago. During the first year KGTV collected 60 toys; now tens-of-thousands of toys fill the 10Toy Shop.

In partnership with the Salvation Army, San Diego’s 10 touches the lives of thousands of families with the help of your generous donation of new and unwrapped toys.

Watch for special 10Toy Drive segments from James Quinones, Jeff Cawley and Phoebe Chongchua on 10News Morning Edition at 6am, Midday at 11am, 10News Live at 5pm & 6:30pm and 10News Nightcast at 11pm.

Each segment features 10Toy Drive guests making on-air appearances donating toys to the 10Toy Shop. Also, listen to KSON 97.3 FM for 10Toy Drive updates.

San Diego's 10 hopes you will share in the holiday spirit and help make San Diego a better place to live. Drop off your new and unwrapped toy at any of the following locations:

Mail Boxes Etc.
Escondido Auto Park
Mattress Discounters
San Diego County Credit Union
Subway
KGTV Studios

If you are planning to donate toys at the KGTV studios and want to appear on one of the newscasts, please call Myesha Mitchell at (619) 237-6392 to make an appointment.
