"It's rewarding to know that San Diegans trust me to bring them the everyday tragedies and triumphs of news and also, to share their stories."  Trust. Respect. Two very important words to any journalist -- and they're often used to describe 10News reporter Jack White. For over thirty years, San Diegans have trusted him to bring them the news. And he's earned their respect through hard work and dedication.
As a journalist, Jack's been in the thick of things since 1965. He covered the Watts riots in Los Angeles, the PSA plane crash in North Park and the McDonald's shooting in San Ysidro. But the stories Jack remembers most fondly are "people" stories. One of his reports even helped a group of San Diegans start a home for unmarried expectant mothers. After Jack leaves the studio, you can usually find him in front of an audience. He's been a host for every kind of community event, from beauty pageants and magic shows to blood drives and fundraisers.
