CGW Helps Holiday Game Shoppers

Santa has a tough job this year figuring out what to buy PC gamers. Luckily the pros at Computer Gaming World have taken it upon themselves to compile the best the industry has to offer from the mind-blowing 3,800 products available (or they were naughty all season and are just trying to get back onto Santa's "nice" list). The Holiday Hot 100 will not only help Santa with purchasing titles and peripherals for PC gamers, but will also help parents who wouldn't know Quake from Pong. "PC Data projects computer game sales to increase a little more than 10 percent over last year's fourth-quarter sales of $400 million," notes Wilson. "I'm more optimistic, by at least a few percentage points. Based on continued market growth, and the high quality of the games we've seen this year, I think developers, retailers, and gamers are in for a very happy holiday season."
