Statement by the Press Secretary
Egyptian President to Visit Washington

President Bush will welcome President Hosni Mubarak to Washington for a working visit on April 2.  The United States and Egypt share important common interests and objectives in the Middle East region, and enjoy a robust bilateral dialogue and cooperation in many areas.  The President looks forward to discussing bilateral and regional issues with President Mubarak, including efforts to achieve peace in the Middle East.
