On-line Support & Troubleshooting

These pages are continually being updated to provide the most timely and accurate support available.

To effectively use these pages you need to locate a topic appropriate for the problem that you are experiencing, click on that topic, and follow the steps presented to you. You can click on the words "On-line Support" at the top of the screen to return to this menu.

Many of the pages ask you to perform checks and answer a question. Be sure to follow the steps exactly as they are stated. As you answer these questions you will be guided through pages to resolve the problem. You can go back to a previous page in a sequence by using the BACK feature of your browser. The browser BACK button is usually located in the upper-left corner of your browser's screen.

If after starting a topic, sequence of pages, you find that the topic you selected is not appropriate for the problem that you are experiencing, you can click on the words "On-line Support" at the top of the screen to return to this menu and select another topic.

If you do not see a topic for the problem that you are having, you can contact SyQuest Technical Support for help.


Troubleshooting Setup and Operation Problems

There are two areas here: Setup and Operation. Each area covers ways to resolve problems unique to that area that you may encounter while using your SyQuest drive. Select the appropriate area and you are presented with a list of topics.

Setup Problems

To begin resolving a Setup issue, read the following list, and then select the Operating System that you are using.

Click on the appropriate selection and you are presented with a list of topics.


Operation Problems

To begin resolving an Operation issue, read the following list, and then select the description that best fits the problem that you are having.

Click a topic for information about that issue.
