About ADC Seeding
The ADC Seeding Program is open to all Select and Premier members and their associates who
are holders of an active ADC Software Seed Key. This program provides access to pre-release software for
testing and development purposes, and allows members to file bugs. ADC Software Seeding provides access to
pre-release Mac OS X software, as well as seeds of products such as Mac OS X Server, development kits,
documentation, samples, and demos.
ADC Software
Seed Key
An "ADC Software Seed Key" is required to access
the seed software. Each Select and
Premier membership includes five
(5) ADC Software Seed keys that are assigned to the owner of the account.
The owner of the Select or Premier account may then transfer the additional
ADC Software Seed Keys to other ADC members in order to download software.
The ADC Software Seed keys can be used as often as needed, and they are
valid for the duration of the original owner's membership.
ADC Seed CD
Seed CDs such as special sets of bootable discs are delivered to all ADC Software
Seed Key holders when appropriate. Recipients are notified of shipments via e-mail.
Download Software Seeds
Log into the ADC
Member site, click the Download Software link to view a list
of the software seeds. Click the Download Button on the right hand side
of the seed description. As long as you own a valid ADC Software Seed
Key, you may access the Download Software area of the ADC Member
Site as often as needed.
ADC Seed Update E-mail
The "ADC Seed Update" e-mail is sent to
all ADC members who have an ADC Software Seed Key (see "ADC Software Seed
Key" above). This e-mail includes announcements of new software posted
to the ADC Member Site, bug reporting instructions, contents of special mailings as they occur,
and other helpful info for members using pre-release software in their development
efforts.
