Frequently Asked Questions - How do I pay for MiCircles?

MiCircles is easy to use and, conveniently, you can pay using your mobile phone.

  • MiCircles costs £1.50 per month. When you get a MiCircles account, your balance will be credited with 15 messages.
    • For Pay as you go customers, your credit will be reduced by £1.50.
    • For contract customers, you will see an additional entry called "Text Info Service" on your bill (terminology varies from operator to operator).
  • For each message you receive from MiCircles, your account will be decremented by 1 credit.
  • If you use all your credits before the end of the month, you can buy 15 more credits for £1.50. Send credit to 80003 (*) to top up your account.
  • If your account balance is zero, then you will not be able to receive messages from your circles.
  • We will warn you when your balance falls below 25p.
  • MiCircles does not charge you to send a text message (your normal texting cost applies - frequently it is 10p.)
  • MiCircles costs the same if you are are roaming internationally. See Using MiCircles outside the UK for more information.

Can I rollover my credits?
  • If purchase additional credits during the month, these credits will be 'rolled over' to the next month.
  • Your monthly allowance of 15 messages will be used first, before these purchased credits.
Example
  • If your balance falls to 20p, and you send credit to 80003 (*) , your account balance will be £1.70.
  • You receive one more message from your circles. (Balance is now £1.60.)
  • You receive your monthly bill and your balance is now £3.00. You keep your purchased credits and your account is topped-up with your monthly allowance.
