After 10 years of fighting TV stations over what they're allowed to stream on the Web, one cable company is finally making good use of the Net. Time Warner Cable in San Diego has launched Broadband TV, which lets cable subscribers watch all 75 cable channels on the Web. You have to live in San Diego. The sun, the sand, and Broadband TV. Lucky San Diegans. - Firefox apparently totally mainstream
A Web site promoting the use of the Firefox browser, SpreadFirefox.com, was hacked last week. This can mean one of two things. Microsoft has finally hired its team of hackers to spread havoc in the open-source community or Firefox is so popular that it's now become cool to hack it like any big company. - Big lawyers, big business, vanishing profits
AMD and Intel have set a time in early August to sit down with their all-star cast of lawyers and exchange names and addresses of people to use at the trial.
