Anglican Archbishop visits Africa

This week Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, visits the region most vehemently opposed to allowing gay bishops in the Anglican Church. Dr Williams will meet church, state and traditional leaders - talks are expected to focus on a wide range of issues affecting the Church. Undoubtedly the role of LGBTI people and women in the Church will be a bone of contention.
