9/30/03 UK Women's Cross Country Ranked 34th The UK women's cross country team is ranked 34th in the latest national poll conducted by the Women's Intercollegiate Cross Country Coaches Association, Coach Don Weber announced Tuesday. The Cats jumped seven spots in the rankings from a week ago after an impressive showing at the Western Kentucky Oldtimers Classic on Sept. 20. (more) 9/20/03 Cross Country Runners Place in WKU Oldtimer's Classic The Kentucky cross country team placed seven runners in the top-ten at the WKU Oldtimer's Classic on Saturday, Sept. 20, in Bowling Green, Ky. For the men, Thomas Morgan and John Richardson placed in a five-mile run while five women crossed the finish line in the top-ten for the women. (more) 9/19/03 UK Returns to Action at WKU Oldtimer's Classic The University of Kentucky cross country team returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 20, when it travels to Bowling Green, Ky., for the Western Kentucky Oldtimer's Classic. The Cats, who have had a three-week break from competition, will compete against five teams on the women's side in a 6k while the men face six other squads in a five-mile run.
