Now you can access your .Mac iDisk when you’re not connected to the Internet. Just work on the copy of your iDisk stored locally on your hard drive. Every time you connect to the Internet, all your iDisk files and folders synchronize automatically.

FinderYour iDisk, is permanently visible in the new Finder sidebar, along with all available volumes and favorite folders. You can now work with files stored in your iDisk just as you would a folder on your hard drive.

Working with files on your iDisk is as fast as working with your Mac because you are, in fact, working with files on your local hard drive. Now you can access iDisk files at any time, even when you’re on the go and off-line. All iDisk files and folders are regularly and automatically synchronized with Apple servers when you have a network connection. All your latest changes are always accessible from anywhere.

If you use multiple Macs, you’ll appreciate having the same up-to-date files available directly from the Finder on each of them. You can even add new files or make changes while you are off-line. The changes will be automatically synchronized back to Apple servers the next time you connect.
