Operation Memnon - update

Most of you will know by now that we the man arrested in connection with the murder of June Everitt has been released without charge on police bail, pending further enquiries. We do stress that this is still very much a live enquiry and that we are still looking for witnesses, anybody who saw June on the evening of Thursday July 3, or her car the black Renault Megane, between then and Sunday. To update you on last night’s stopping of vehicles and pedestrians back at the murder scene at Ridgeway Road, as a result of officers stopping people a week to the day of June’s death, we have found four people in a car who did see June at the gates leading to the garage block just before she died, so we are continuing to speak to those new witnesses.
