Character: Flick Scully
Actor: Holly Valance
Going off the rails
Felicity or Flick to her friends. I knew her very well when she was in high school, ‘hanging out’ with Tad and Paul. She seemed to go off the rails a bit without the steadying influence of those two boys – joking!
Although it’s not all been Felicity’s fault – she genuinely thought that PR job would lead to something (other than being naked).
Her love life
Flick's always been a favourite with the boys in the street. She used to have her eye on Bill Kennedy before he left. And she was very serious about Joel for a while. And of course she broke poor Paul's heart. Her popularity with the boys has certainly landed her in hot water. She doesn't seem to have many girlfriends, i'm not sure why.
She made her Marc
Although Felicity is definitely an intelligent young lady, she definitely has lapses in common sense at times. Take the way she deceived her own sister. It started with a kiss at Lassiter's Lake and it wasn't long before Steph's fiancé Marc fell in love with Flick and called off the wedding at the last minute. It was a race back to Ramsay Street where the girls battled it out on the gravel.
Flick ran away for a while, but did return. They did seem to patch things up which is good news, after all blood is thicker than water - plus it's harder to get off the gravel!
On a positive note
Felicity has a very active social conscience; She is genuinely concerned for the oppressed of the world. “How important can they be when half the world is starving and so many of its women oppressed?” She once told me when I asked her whether or not she wanted sprinkles on her ice-cream.
On a negative note
It seems that Flick suffers from the classic middle child syndrome of feeling neglected and misunderstood by the rest of the family.
Although she'd never admit it, I'm sure she thinks her own family are just a bit vulgar, something which causes friction with Steph (although not as much as sleeping with her boyfriend did). Flick and Michelle have little in common, but this is changing as they grow older (watch your back Connor).
