Iraqis flee war, persecution

A decade ago, more than 3 million civilians fled Iraq following the Gulf War and possibly a million remain abroad. Governments of neighboring countries are now stockpiling supplies in anticipation of a war and hundreds of thousands of Iraqi refugees.



The United Nations and relief agencies expect a war would create anywhere between 600,000 and 1.5 million refugees. families.
