Neighbours star, Alan Fletcher is also a keen photographer, who has his own business taking headshots of actors and various other entertainers.
"I started taking photographs when I was quite young, because my Dad was a photographer," explained Alan. "I started doing it about 20 years ago I started to do it semi-professionally and then professionally a few years after that."
Alan didn't study photography formally, but learned his skills on the job.
"I didn't study photography at college, but I did work with a portrait photographer from the 1930s, who taught me everything he knew about working in a darkroom and built me studio flashes and trained me to be a studio photographer," he said.
When asked what his favourite subjects were, Alan answered,
"My favourite subjects are people all around the world in particular. I love travel photography and taking photographs of people, because the people of the world are so varied and the places you visit are so often expressed in the people themselves."
So when are we likely to see Alan's work in an exhibition?
"I'd love to have an exhibition, but I would need to get a lot more stock together," he said. "I haven't actually had the chance to take a creative photograph for many years now. I'd have to get back on the road and travel again."
