Bollywood-based actress Arati Chabria
has been working on her Kannada debut for three years.
Aham Premasane
, which also marks the
debut of Ravichandran's brother Ishwar aka Balaji, has been a long time in the
making. Arati has been attending the shooting schedules without any complaints,
and says she's eager to see this project hit the screen.
Meanwhile,
five years in Bollywood as well as the Telugu film industry have given this
young star the opportunity to work with various stars and artistes. Starting at
the age of three when she modelled for baby food, she went on to appear in
commercials and videos before she stepped into films. Arati tells
BT
about her brushes with stardom in
Bollywood.
Rekha
in
Lajja
: I
was very young then. There was this shot where Rekha was supposed to beat me up.
I thought she would just act, but she is the kind of person who really gets into
the character and she actually beat me up and had me in tears. After the shot,
she got me chocolates.
