Bollywood-based actress Arati Chabria has been working on her Kannada debut for three years. Aham Premasane , which also marks the debut of Ravichandran's brother Ishwar aka Balaji, has been a long time in the making. Arati has been attending the shooting schedules without any complaints, and says she's eager to see this project hit the screen.

Meanwhile, five years in Bollywood as well as the Telugu film industry have given this young star the opportunity to work with various stars and artistes. Starting at the age of three when she modelled for baby food, she went on to appear in commercials and videos before she stepped into films. Arati tells BT about her brushes with stardom in Bollywood.

Rekha in Lajja : I was very young then. There was this shot where Rekha was supposed to beat me up. I thought she would just act, but she is the kind of person who really gets into the character and she actually beat me up and had me in tears. After the shot, she got me chocolates.
