Sadr City weapons handover to begin

A five-day grace period for militia loyal to rebel cleric Muqtada al-Sadr in Sadr City -- a suburb of Baghdad -- to hand over medium and heavy weapons starts today. The arms surrender will allow Iraqi security forces, backed by U.S. troops, to take control of the area where attacks on U.S. and Iraqi soldiers have been going on for weeks.
