Donate to The American Prospect
The American Prospect is a not-for-profit organization and an independent magazine dedicated to presenting a practical and compelling vision of liberal politics and public life. Our ability to publish the nation’s "most influential liberal magazine" would not be possible without the generosity of people like you who share our determination to use crusading journalism to take back our country.
Support The American Prospect and join the fight for a more decent and just America.
Our articles set agendas, propose policies, and further debates. We publish investigative pieces that expose and debunk the right. We challenge the premise that progressives need to shift to the center to become politically competitive.
In addition to the regular print magazine, we publish at least seven special reports every year on a variety of pressing political questions. We incubate, train, and mentor young progressive journalists through our prestigious writing fellows program.
National newspapers frequently quote from our articles; Prospect staffers write columns for other publications such as The Washington Post and The Boston Globe; our editors are regulars on radio and TV talk shows.
As convenors of the progressive community, we organize Washington events: strategy meetings for progressive leaders, televisions forums at the Capitol, and lively debates at universities -- to name a few.
Please give generously to support progressive infrastructure. Without it, the right wins the battle of ideas by default.
