The History of Bertrand
The village of Bertrand was incorporated in 1968 under the Louis Robichaud government by a provisory committee.The first municipal council was elected in the same year. The first mayor elected was M. Louis C. Godin, and the first councillors were M. Nicholas Godin et M. Richard Thériault.
