Online consumer spending jumped to $8.8 bln excluding travel In November 2004. It's a 19% YTY increase from November 2003, according to the Goldman Sachs, Harris Interactive, and Nielsen//NetRatings Holiday eSpending Report. Adult consumers spent $1.5 bln buying clothing online, $1 bln purchasing toys and video games, $882 mln on videos and DVDs, $621 on books, and $481 on music, according to the report.
