pcnfsd for IRIX 5.3
A UNIX 'daemon' used by PC-based NFS clients. It provides user name and password
authentication for networked PCs which have installed NFS client software.
pcnfsd can also be used to provide printer spooling.
Perl 5
An interpreted language optimized for scanning arbitrary text files,
extracting information from those text files, and printing reports
based on that information. It's also a good language for many system
management tasks.

POP Server Under IRIX 5.3
A telnet-like program that resides in a computer you designate as an SMTP mail server.
SPIM: an
instruction level simulator
SPIM allows you to run MIPS assembly on various UNIX platforms (e.g. MIPS,
DEC, SUN and more). SPIM also contains an X-windows interface which greatly
simplifies the student's debugging task. Spim comes from University of
Wisconsin-Madison and was written by Professor Jim Larus.
