According to today's NY Times, in an age when private citizens are publishing blogs that have become a "critical source of news," the courts are being asked by Apple Computer to decide to whether or not bloggers should enjoy the same protections as mainstream journalists. In the past, the courts have extended latittude to journalists "in protecting the identities of confidential sources."

...that I'm new to this realm within cyberspace - although not new to the wonders and worries of internet communications. As a writer/editor this "blog" stuff seems a perfect match; and, as I'm almost incurably curious about that which I don't know - which is m u c h more than that which I do know - well, this realm opens up s-o-o many possibilities it nearly staggers the mind. Feel free to communicate in whatever form(s) tickles your fancy...and, I shall reply in kind.
