The 3 Beads of Sweat logo was drawn by Daniel Clowes, the noted cartoonist who has created the finest underground comics ever over the past 15 years or so, including Eightball, Lloyd Llewelynn, Ghost World, Like a Velvet Glove Cast in Iron and David Boring. His work has also adorned the pages of The New Yorker and The Village Voice, the movie poster for Happiness, and the design for the ill-fated OK Cola. Daniel was also nominated for an Academy Award for his work on the screenplay adaptation of the excellent movie adaptation of Ghost World, released theatrically in 2001.

The 3BOS logo was drawn in 1994 for a "side label" of Ajax Records that ultimately released just one record, a 7-inch single by the Columbus, Ohio country-rock outfit Greenhorn (sadly out of print). When the idea for this site came about, we contacted Daniel and received his permission to continue using the logo, so our eternal thanks go out to him for his generosity.

We encourage all of you interested in excellent, insightful artwork, writing and humor to check out any and all of Daniel's work. He is published by Fantagraphics Books out of Seattle, whose website can be accessed here.
