POLITICAL DIARY - Commentary and analysis on the 2004 election season

"I love Political Diary. It is creative, insightful and a must-see each day."
-- Heather Davis, Press Secretary, Congressman George Radanovich, Washington, D.C.

--Eric Walker, Austin, Texas

"I am very interested in ongoing political battles in Congress and state houses, and we definitely need the common sense approach when evaluating these political events that Political Diary provides."
--Doug Tornese, Collegeville, Pa.

What the Media Say

"Whether it's politics, business or foreign affairs, Political Diary is a must-read each day for pundits, investors, government officials or main-street voters. Insider tidbits, great analysis, spicy quotes -- don't leave home without it."
-- Larry Kudlow, "Kudlow & Company"

"I would recommend OpinionJournal's Political Diary highly for its solid daily line-up of reasoned conservative thought. It costs $3.95 per month. I think it is worth every last penny."
-- Rob Biederman, The Reasoned Right (thereasonedright.blogspot.com)

"Political Diary is packed with stuff you can't easily find elsewhere. Today's newsletter had an article about a compromise to the anti-filibuster rules change that is being pushed by Democratic Senator Ben Nelson (Nebraska). There is also an article about Arizona Republicans courting Marilyn Quayle, the wife of the former Vice President, to run for governor of Arizona, and civil right leader Deval Patrick's ambitions to run for governor of Massachusetts. I did some Google news searching to see how widely these stories are being reported elsewhere, and didn't find many hits. For example, information on Mrs. Quayle considering a run for Arizona governor was found in the Arizona Republic Online and also in a news site that merely references and comments on the Political Diary article. That was it. Surely, if Mrs. Quayle does run, we'll be hearing a lot about it in the future. So, won't it be nice to be able to say, "Oh, hadn't you heard that yet? I heard of that ages ago."
-- Dory Zinkand, WittenbergGate.net

"OpinionJournal's 'Political Diary,' edited by Opinion page's Holman W. Jenkins Jr., is a lively collection of interesting tidbits and commentary on political goings on both inside the Capitol and on the campaign trail. It costs $3.95 per month ... [and is] well worth 20 cents per day."
--Forbes Magazine: 2004 Best of the Web selection
