Five interesting things about Wordy that I bet you didn't know before...
(Possibly soon to be ten interesting things if I can think of them. Suggestions welcome)

Wordy's listing in the telephone directory
(The Boy From Space)

Wordy's Word Workshop
(Sky Hunter) 1. Wordy can live wherever he likes, but he has two known permanent addresses - an orbiting space station called Wordlab 1 (telephone number: Space 2001) and a business called Wordy's Word Workshop, the location of which is unknown.

Signed first edition of 'The Hunt For The Silent Giant' by Wordy
(Geordie Racer) 2. Wordy's autograph consists of his his name, written in neat not-joined-up writing, and a doodle of his big eyes - which spookily look just like the 'oo' in 'Look and Read'. What an amazing coincidence!

Wordy's weird fingerprints
(Fair Ground!) 3. Wordy's fingerprints come out very weird - normal swirly black bits with big yellow letters in the middle of them - spelling out W-o-r-d-y on his five fingers.
"Well, you'd better not burgle anyone Wordy, because the police would know exactly who did it!"

Rear views of Mr Watchword
(The King's Dragon / Fair Ground!) 4. Wordy from the rear looks much like Wordy from the front, except without the face. Look at the picture - the early 1970s version Wordy had lots of extra black blocks round the back to fill up space, while 1980s version Wordy had some extra punctuation marks in his nether regions.

Wordy's hands - he's been supermarionated!
(The King's Dragon) 5. Wordy's hands seen in close up are different from when you see him floating round. He seems like he's got normal human hands with gloves on! Just like in Thunderbirds!!
