KOSHEEN IN ONE MINUTE Hailing from Glasgow, Bristol and South Wales, the band formed in Bristol in 1998. Markee Substance and Darren Decoder were already well known in the Bristol drum & bass scene when they hooked up with singer Sian Evans. For nine months in 1996 Sian lived in a teepee on a travellers' site in the Brechfa forest with her son Yves where she started writing songs. Sian used to sing with Cajun jazz band 'Mike Harry's Root Doctors'.
