Nuclear Magnetic Resonance

Mission Statement

To provide Nuclear Magnetic Resonance services and training for the students and Faculty of The University of Texas.

Instrument Training

Spectrometer training is provided on an as requested basis. Training and/or check-out on the Varian Unity+ 300, or Varian Mercury 400 may be requested by using the sign-up form available from Jim Wallin in Welch 1.412.

All other requests should be directed to Ben Shoulders in Welch 1.412 or by E-mail to Ben Shoulders

NMR Equipment

The NMR laboratory at UT includes five spectrometers. These are two Varian INOVA 500, two Varian UNITY+ 300s, and a Varian MERCURY 400.
