Scholarships

There are a range of scholarships and fellowships available to undergraduates through the departmental Advising Office. Each one has its own eligibility requirements. The type of things that may be considered include academic performance, i.e., GPA, involvement in research, number of credit hours in residence, number of credit hours taken each semester, leadership and other non-academic indicators, and financial need.

During each Spring semester, a scholarship application is available from the Undergraduate Course Office (Welch 2.212). All students who are chemistry or biochemistry majors are encouraged to fill out this application so they will be considered for all scholarships for which they are eligible.

Other sources for scholarships are listed by the College of Natural Sciences, and the Office of Student Financial Services.
