Remember the couple that met and fell in love, thanks to Xbox Live®? Well, they've since gotten married … and soon they'll be bringing a new little gamer into this world!
Here comes the bride—on XboxLive!
Since we first told their story, Sekhmet77 (Nicky) moved to Ottawa to be with CTFbigdog (Jim). They were married on September 18. They were even sweet enough to invite TriXie to the wedding, who unfortunately couldn't make it.
Just picture an Xbox controller in his tiny little hand …
We recently got even more good news from our favorite couple: They are expecting a baby boy in early 2005! They plan on naming him Noah James Osmer Pitts. (Noah is a favorite name of Nicky's. James is for his father and great-grandfather, and Osmer is for his grandfather.) We noticed that there is no reference to Xbox Live amongst his many names, but we're confident that "TriXie" would've been in the running, had it been a girl …
We told you Xbox would be big.
Here's a recent e-mail from Nicky:
"Hey, TriXie,
Things are going great with Jim and me. It's so nice to know there really is that special someone out there that you just "click" with so well. He's definitely "the one" for me, my soul mate. We should also be buying a house very soon and moving in shortly after that. I can't wait to get started on the nursery. We are both thrilled to be having a little boy.
P.S. We still play Xbox Live together (we each have our own setup), and we love the new Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon™ 2."
Congratulations to two of our favorite Xbox Live members. We won't be changing any diapers, but we feel proud knowing this little guy is on the way thanks to his parents meeting on XboxLive!
