Boucicaut Master
( fl c. 13901430). Illuminator, active in Paris.The anonymous artist known as the Boucicaut Master is named after his work in the Book of Hours of Paris Use (274*190 mm; Paris, Mus. Jacquemart-André, MS. 2; see MANUSCRIPT, colour pl. IV), which was commissioned by Jean II le Meingre de Boucicaut, Marshal (maréchal ) of France (13651421).
