Illustratore
( fl c. 133047). Italian illuminator. Erbach von Fürstenau first distinguished this artist from Niccolò di Giacomo da Bologna, calling him the Pseudo-Niccolò. The name Illustratore was proposed by Longhi, but hypotheses as to his identity (which have included Andrea da Bologna) have proved difficult to substantiate.
