Every year around this time bands across America hop into their busses and vans strapped with neck pillows and Lost DVDs as they embark on the inevitable College Fall Tour (insert year here). We have just begun this journey and have to say it has been a good one.

Now that the American Idols Tour has stopped spinning its wheels, bands like us are on a mission to provide some rock to the Midwest. I'm not knocking "Idol," but there had to be a point during the killer duet of "Under the Boardwalk" when Elliott Yamin looked at Bucky and asked himself how in the hell he ended up here.

And here I am sitting in a hotel room in Memphis, Tenn., watching rain creep its way inside my room through the slightly ajar, completely stuck window. But that's fine. At least the water stopped working this morning and a shower is out of the question. Ah, back on tour.

Thus far we have been to Toronto, Ohio, Indiana and Michigan and we have had a great time. Band is playing great and we are all getting along as usual. Canada was kick ass for the following reasons: It was warmer than Michigan, we had a packed house, the place was called Kool Haus and I think I got a new stamp on my Passport.

I'm off to the Orpheum in Memphis. Memphis, by the way, is a beautiful town. It has a slow hand way about it. I took the trolley back and forth to town yesterday. Yes, a trolley. And it completely fit. The kind of town you really want to take your time in.

It is now 10:30 a.m. and we are waking up in Tulsa, Okla. Hard to tell what the day will bring. I haven't actually gotten out of my bunk yet to be honest so I can't get a full report. 'Til next time.

For me, music blurs the lines between the natural and the supernatural. I find true miracles in most of my favorite songs. Maybe it's a conflict of interest to mix business with therapy. Or maybe music is the quickest way under my skin. More...

We were visited by Jackass alumni Raab, who hung with the band and celebrated the birthdays of Siggy and merch-girl, Nina. The night lingered on and much alcohol was consumed... Long story short, Raab ended up face down and bloody in the parking lot of the club... More...

On the flipside we played a quaint little town called Cheboygen (yeah, I've never heard of it either). There was this weird chick in the front row who kept punching me in the leg. More...

Has anyone out there ever heard of Maplewood, MN? Well, neither had I but let me say that the show at the Rock may have topped them all so far. More...
