Personnel Announcement

President George W. Bush today announced his intention to nominate one individual to serve in his Administration:

The President intends to nominate Patricia Louise Herbold, of Washington, to be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the Republic of Singapore. Ms. Herbold practiced law with Taft, Stettinius & Hollister in Cincinnati, Ohio. Prior to that, she was Vice President and General Counsel of Bank One in Dayton, Ohio. Earlier in her career, Ms. Herbold served as Mayor of the City of Montgomery, Ohio. She received her bachelor's degree from Edgecliff College and her J.D. from Northern Kentucky University.
