President Signs H.R. 315, H.R. 562, H.R. 1463, H.R. 1556, H.R. 2322, H.R. 4768, H.R. 4805, H.R. 5026, H.R. 5428, H.R. 5434, S. 2856, S. 3661, and S. 3728
On Friday, October 13, 2006, the President signed into law:
H.R. 315, which designates the United States courthouse in Jacksonville,
Florida, as the John Milton Bryan Simpson United States Courthouse;
H.R. 562, which authorizes the Government of Ukraine to establish a
memorial on Federal land in the District of Columbia to honor the
victims of the manmade famine that occurred in Ukraine in 1932-1933;
H.R. 1463, which designates a portion of the Federal building located in
Alexandria, Virginia, as the Justin W. Williams United States Attorney's
Building;
H.R. 1556, which designates a parcel of land located on the site of the
Thomas F. Eagleton United States Courthouse in St. Louis, Missouri, as
the Clyde S. Cahill Memorial Park;
H.R. 2322, which designates the Federal building located in McAllen,
Texas, as the Kika de la Garza Federal Building;
H.R. 4768, which designates the facility of the United States Postal
Service in Beaver, Pennsylvania, as the Robert Linn Memorial Post Office
Building;
H.R. 4805, which designates the facility of the United States Postal
Service in Clinton, Illinois, as the Gene Vance Post Office Building;
H.R. 5026, which designates the Investigations Building of the Food and
Drug Administration in San Juan, Puerto Rico, as the Andres Toro
Building;
H.R. 5428, which designates the facility of the United States Postal
Service in Morris, Illinois, as the Joshua A. Terando Morris Post Office
Building;
H.R. 5434, which designates the facility of the United States Postal
Service in Chillicothe, Ohio, as the Larry Cox Post Office;
S. 2856, the "Financial Services Regulatory Relief Act of 2006," which
reduces the regulatory burden on banks, savings associations, and credit
unions;
S. 3661, the "Wright Amendment Reform Act 2006," which modifies
restrictions on air transportation to and from Love Field, Texas; and
S. 3728, the "North Korea Nonproliferation Act of 2006," which amends
the Iran and Syria Nonproliferation Act to apply to North Korea.
