Hello and Welcome to Electric Scotland
 The main purpose of the site is to help educate our visitors on the
history of Scotland, the Scots and Scots-Irish, as well as people and
places of Scottish descent. This means you'll get to learn about the
history of the Scottish Highlands & Islands, Scottish Borders, Central
Scotland and the Scots who lived there. We also carry a great deal of
material on Scots descendants around the world. Overall you will find
over 100 major books on different aspects of Scottish history, a
6 volume gazetteer of place names along with maps, good histories of
Scottish clans and families along with ways to search for your tartan.
There are over 3000 biographies of Scots and many of Scots descendants
around the world and lots more to explore. I have also prepared a series
of
small videos to introduce you to each major section of the site.
