Scholarships

Undergraduate Scholarships

The Faculty of Engineering is providing innovative, world-class research and teaching to develop engineers who contribute to wealth creation and enrich the quality of life in all levels of society.

Industry links are an established tradition, in the Faculty, going back to early substantial financial support from a leading Sydney industrialist, Sir Peter Nichol Russell. Such links are strong in every part of the faculty, thus providing students with a large number of benefits including an expanded choice of scholarships.
These scholarships offer a wider range of education choices to a greater number of high achieving students.

We also have an impressive number of scholarship opportunities available to students in later years. These are usually company-named scholarships which also offer students work experience.

In 2005 the Faculty of Engineering awarded scholarships (to new and continuing undergraduate students) to the total combined value of approximately $250,000.

For more information on all engineering scholarships, please contact the Engineering Scholarships Office, or The University of Sydney Scholarships Office.
