Located just south of Sydney's CBD, Engineering is located 5 minutes walk from the transport hubs of Redfern Station, and Broadway and City Road bus stops.

Nearby are the great student hangout suburbs of Glebe and Newtown with student accomodation, heaps of good and cheap restaurants featuring tastes from all around the world, plus lots of pubs for a refreshing drink.

Cultural, sporting and academic atmosphere

 

There's more to university life than just what happens in the lecture theatre or tutorial. There are hundreds of opportunities to get involved, through clubs and societies, sporting venues, or just by sitting in one of the Union's coffee shops chatting between lectures.

SUCE - Sydney University Civil Engineers, and SUEUA - Sydney University Engineering Undergraduate Association, organise regular social events.
