Seminar series

The regular series of seminars given by the postgraduate students and staff in the School of Civil Engineering, The University of Sydney continues in 2007. The general range of topics include the main areas of research within the School of Civil Engineering: geotechnical, structures, project management, fluids, and materials. Closer to the date of each seminar, synopses will be available on the Internet. Click on the title to get the abstract.

Lectures will be held in Lecture Room 3, School of Civil Engineering, The University of Sydney, (mostly) on Wednesdays, 1.10 - 1.50 pm.

What is the aim of our seminars?

University of Sydney student

Our seminars are primarily designed for our postgraduate students to present their work and gain experience at public speaking. However we also include our own academics, visiting researchers, and practicing engineers to present.

All members of the school - staff, postgraduates and undergraduates, as well as any interested members of the university & engineering community, and the general public are most welcome to attend.
