| Through its work with schools the Institution of Engineering and Technology aims to encourage and increase the understanding and awareness of the engineering profession. It publishes a number of resources directly related to the science and technology curricula at both primary and secondary levels. The Institution also provides a range of career and courses literature for the 14-18 age group. The Institution is supporting the Young Engineers for Britain and YEDA Competition.
