The Institution offers a range of scholarships, awards and medals:

Innovation Awards
Awards designed to promote and recognise innovation in industry and best practice across all engineering disciplines, presented annually.
Scholarships and Awards
Scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate students, plus bursaries and travel awards, are available each year.
Premium Awards
Awarded annually since 1882, the Premium Awards recognise excellence in papers published in IET publications.
Achievement Awards
Awarded annually, these include the Measurement Prize, JA Lodge Award for Medical Engineering and Achievement Medals.

The Institution continues to support the annual "Science, Engineering and Technology (SET) Student of the Year Awards", which are open to students on a first degree course in the UK.
