Electronic Books :

To access the e-books services, you must be logged in as a member to the Web site.

These e-books can be searched as interactive databases or browsed by subject and title.

E-books services currently available to members are:

• Knovel:  This service provides access to 250 scientific and engineering handbooks and references.
• The IT Reference Library:  This service is a collection of 200 IT books from major technology publishers, powered by Books24x7.

Electronic Journals:

The Library offers access to a number of electronic journals services. Some provide all users with access to full text whilst others are restricted to members.

Wiley and EBSCOHost can be accessed by members who are fully logged in to the IET website.

Members can apply for a username and password for Swetswise from the Library.

• Wiley Journals - members only: Trial access to 8 full-text journals from Wiley, a major technology publisher.
• E-journals Library - members only: This service provides access to several thousand full text journal titles, company and industry profiles and other information resources, powered by EBSCOHost.
• Library Swetswise "Table of Contents" service - members only: This service is on offer to members only and provides remote electronic access to a Table of Contents service using a username and password, which must be obtained from the library.
• E-Journals Library - access to all:  This list provides direct links to electronic journals in electrical engineering and information technology which are freely available on the internet to all users.
