They just couldn't fight the feeling.
 
Plenty of sun, music and free food brought many students and residents to the 17th annual Movin' On Day on the HUB Lawn Saturday.
 
The U.S. Department of Education decided to restructure the Guaranteed Student Loan Program after statistics showed that 17 percent of the $55 billion in student loans is not being repaid, a department spokeswoman said.
 
From showing cows competitively to dressing calves in costume, the 66th annual Dairy Exposition offered a good time to all who attended.
 
Residents and students bought food and played games Saturday to raise about $800 for the homeless in Centre County.
 
About 400 University ROTC cadets paraded on campus Friday for the first time in more than 20 years.
 
 
SPORTS
 
The Penn Relays -- "The Super Bowl of Outdoor Track".
 
On Saturday, 41,000 fans watched one of the best collegiate triple jumpers in the country.
 
Missed opportunities.
 
Kim Corbin, Marie Hawkins and Amy Myers watched from a grassy hill along the right field line of Hess Memorial Field in Shingletown yesterday as San Diego State recorded the final out against Detroit in the championship game of the Lady Lion Invitational.
 
With as many as eight scouts from professional teams at Beaver Field this weekend, the baseball team put together another great four-game series.
 
Two doubleheaders in two days can put a big strain on a pitching staff, but pitching -- combined with outstanding defense and hitting -- led the baseball team to three victories over St. Bonaventure this weekend at Beaver Field.
 
With a run-and-gun offensive attack, Princeton handed the No. 3 women's lacrosse team an 11-10 defeat in the Lady Lions' last regular-season game.
 
This one was close.

The women's golf team ended its spring season in dominant fashion, winning the Lady Lion Invitational by 23 strokes over the weekend.
