After five years of appeals in Pennsylvania courts, a man convicted of rape is now taking his case to the United States Supreme Court.

Troy Taylor wasn't one of the crazy spring breakers searching for a way to get on MTV while vacationing in Daytona Beach. Instead, MTV came searching for him, with an offer to compete in the Beauty on the Beach competition.

Whoever said size isn't important wasn't talking about sports.

The ideal height for a male gymnast is between 5 feet 3 inches and 5 feet 7 inches, said Randy Jepson, men's gymnastics coach. But he added there are exceptions. The all-around men's gymnastics champion in the 1980 Olympics was nearly six feet tall.

The men's volleyball team ended its regular season exactly the way it had played all season long.

For April Polito and the rest of the women's gymnastics team, tonight is the culmination of seven months of practice, endless workouts, weight training and dieting.

Former Doors guitarist Robby Krieger just wants to rock.

Krieger said he tried to break free from the whole Doors syndrome after Jim Morrison's death, but soon realized that it was an impossibility. "I'll never get away from it, so I changed my thinking," he said in a mellow tone.
