While enjoying Thanksgiving thoughts of turkey with gravy, people have a chance do something in good taste by donating a book and receiving a cone of Wavy Gravy.

It all began in 1947 with a homeless homemade rag doll. Since then, Toys for Tots has brightened the holidays for more than 100 million children.

With students returning to the area after Thanksgiving, there will be a lot of traveling Sunday night -- but students will not be the only ones busy running around in the dark.

Feeling slightly nauseated, dizzy and all-around sick as a dog is just another part of the Thanksgiving tradition -- but the hazards of undercooked turkeys and food poisoning are a few important points the pilgrims and Native Americans neglected to put in the Thanksgiving story books.
