Welcome to the Harvard Law School Housing web site. Contained within these web pages, you will find information regarding a myriad of housing options for HLS students. Accommodations can be found in Harvard Law School dormitories, Harvard University apartments, or in privately owned apartments in Cambridge and the surrounding neighborhoods.
Harvard Law School Dormitories
The Harvard Law School dormitories house 469 residents, over half of whom are first-year J.D. students. The dormitories offer affordable housing for single students in close proximity to the Law School campus.
- 2007-2008 HLS Dormitory Housing - Preparations are still being made for housing for the 2007-2008 academic year and this website will be updated throughout the spring and summer of 2007. Please find below approximate timelines for applications and the lottery/housing selection.
- Returning HLS Students - The returning student deadline to apply for HLS dormitory housing for 2007-2008 has now passed (Monday, February 26, 2007) and the lottery / room selection was held in mid-March. If you would like to be added to the waitlist, please submit the 2007-2008 Returning Student On-Campus Housing Application. We will be making our way through the waitlist in late early June at the conclusion of the incoming student housing lotteries.
- Incoming J.D. Students - The incoming J.D. deadline to apply for HLS dormitory housing for 2007-2008 has now passed (Friday, April 20, 2007) and the lottery / room selection will be held in early May. If you would like to be added to the waitlist, please submit the 2007-2008 Incomiing J.D. On-Campus Housing Application. We will be making our way through the waitlist in late early June.
- Incoming LL.M./S.J.D. Students - The incoming LL.M./S.J.D. deadline to apply for HLS dormitory housing for 2007-2008 has now passed (Wednesday, May 2, 2007) and the lottery / room selection will be held in early May. If you would like to be added to the waitlist, please submit the 2007-2008 Incoming LL.M./S.J.D. On-Campus Housing Application. We will be making our way through the waitlist in late early June.
